And the strength of the agricultural education program has employers calling us! Purdue's College of Agriculture is one of the nation's highest ranked and most prestigious.
We offer the only program of its kind in the state of Indiana. Your Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural education will give you a strong background in agriculture, basic sciences, and human relations skills. You'll know what to communicate and how to communicate it.
The agricultural education program includes early field experiences for almost every semester. You will observe agricultural science and business classrooms and learn what it is to be an agriculture teacher. Student teaching, the capstone experience, places you with an agricultural science and business teacher where you will be in charge of secondary classes for 12 weeks
